LazyMouse and Safari 4.0

Safari 4.0 Users who also use LazyMouse
Safari 4.0, released on June 8, 2009, appears to have an incompatibility with any program that uses the Accessibility APIs, including LazyMouse and the popular VoiceOver feature of Leopard. The bug will cause Safari 4.0 to crash when you visit certain sites. There aren’t many sites that are affected by this bug, but one of them sadly is the Apple Online Store, which means that many users are experiencing this problem this week as they attempt to log on to the Apple Store to purchase the new toys announced at WWDC.
Sadly, there’s nothing that can be done to LazyMouse to fix this problem since it’s an issue with the way Safari interacts with the OS. I filed a bug on Apple’s radar server, so they are aware of the issue.
The best advice for the moment is to either set LazyMouse to exclude Safari or turn off javascript in Safari if you want to use LazyMouse and visit the Apple Online Store.
If you encounter this problem on any website other than the Apple Store, or if you have any more information regarding this crash, please contact us.
We apologize for this inconvenience.
